Christmas 2008

The Stockings were hung by the chimney with care.... well sort of, if being hung with packing tape counts. Such was our Christmas. It was wonderful and filled with lots of smiles and laughter, but not the kind of holiday that was planned down to the last detail, which lets be honest is often refreshing.

We had a Christmas Eve celebration at my parents house, it was however a few days before Christmas but no one seemed to mind. All the grandkid's were there, my Dad's parents, Unlce Earl and Aunt Evelyn. Cindy had planned a nativity for all the little ones to take part in she made the costumes and everything.

Scotty's little girl, Audry, was the angel..
.....Jack was the sheep,...

Josh was Joseph, Dax was the shepherd, Ella was Mary and Kenny was Jesus.
We got the kids to stay together for about 32 seconds, long enough for me to snatch this picture. Of course 32 seconds is still too long to keep Jack around, he was all ready out of his costume by this point.
Here are all the girls....and Jack.
A couple days after Christmas we got to do it all over again at Jeff's brother's house. Here are the boys with there adorable cousin Emmy. You can see in the back ground a massive box. Grandma Connie from Vermont had this box loaded to the top with wonderful presents for everyone. We missed the Whitmers a lot this year, but the box was full of love and we all felt it. Thanks for all your love and time Connie. We can't wait to see you.
